Vegan Hummus with Paprika Recipe

This vegan hummus is ideal for dipping vegetables or spreading on sandwiches. The use of smoked paprika adds a rich, smoky flavor.

  • Cook Time: 45 minutes
  • Total Time: 55 minutes

Instructions

  • Soak the chickpeas overnight, then cook them for 45 minutes in boiling water, or until soft.
  • Drain the chickpeas and combine them with the garlic, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, and salt in a food processor.
  • Pulse the mixture until it is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  • Before serving, spoon the hummus into a bowl and top with extra paprika.
